I can't recommend these learning days highly enough to anyone who is either starting from scratch or just wants a refresher course to get themselves up to speed on the latest developments in the carp fishing world ... this sort of day is absolutely top notch. No-one needs to feel intimidated or worried about going along to one of these days, just book in and go along and be prepared to enjoy a great day out in good company. If any more Learning Days come up I will certainly go along.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day with Alan and I learnt an awful lot of knowledge. He helped me improve my casting, expanded my knowledge of rigs and helped me improve my set-up. I couldn't believe how much one guy could teach me in such a short space of time! I would like to thank thinkingCarp for making this possible and a big thank you to Alan for being such a good teacher. I would gladly reccommend attending a learning day, or even just having a session or two with one of the experienced members, as you could learn so much - for free
